Cold Brew Ingredients: Ground Coffee - 2½ Cups (230g) Water - 4½ Cups (1L) Milk - Up to you Directions: To a sealable container add: Ground Coffee - 2½ Cups (230g) Water - 4½ Cups (1L) Mix well and let that sit out at room temperature and steep for 12-24 hours stirring every once and a while. Strain the coffee mixture using a sieve and some cheese cloth. Place the cheese cloth in the sieve and place the sieve over a container. Slowly pour the coffee mixture through the cheese cloth until all of the liquid is strained. You can even wring out the cheese cloth to get additional liquid from the grounds. The resulting strained mixture is a Coffee Concentrate. To serve, add about 1/4 cup of the concentrate to your glass then mix in 1¼ Cups of water and a couple Tbsps of milk and a few ice cubes. Enjoy! - If you do grind your own beans i would recommend grinding them a little coarser than you usually would. this will help with straining. - If your coffee is finely ground the mixture will become like a sludge and make straining just a little bit more of a headache. it’s totally doable though. you just have to have more patience. - Obviously the better your coffee the better the concentrate will turn out. not sure i would use folgers for this one... - In a pinch you can even use paper towels as a filter instead of cheese cloth or pour the coffee through any normal filter, but this will take longer.
